Description

With a choice of two colours, blue and black, the Gigatron has never looked cooler.

For sale is a bare Gigatron and Pluggy McPlugface PCB.

The Gigatron is a TTL computer built using discrete components and 7400 series ICs. It has not CPU chip. Instead, the whole design acts as the CPU.

The Gigatron was designed by Marcel van Kervinck and Walter Belgers. Marcel passed away in May 2020, and since then, Walter has made the design open hardware.

There is a thriving community on the Gigatron forum where you can find hints, tips and like-minded people.

Click here to download a list of required components and the construction manual. You’ll also need to be able to write the EEPROM for the Gigatron to work.
