Colour Maximite 2 – PCB

The item for sale is the PCB only (no components).

The Colour Maximite 2 is a retro-inspired computer.

Practice your soldering and once constructed the computer features the following;

1. CPU is an ARM Cortex-M7 32-bit RISC processor running at 480MHz
2. VGA out, 800 x 600 @ up to 65,536 colours
3. Full-size SD card reader
4. USB A keyboard connection
5. USB B power connection

To build this you will need to follow the instructions from geoffg.net where you’ll find a list of required components.
The computer requires the Waveshare CoreH743I module which you can purchase directly from Waveshare or other places such as eBay or Amazon.

Once constructed it is necessary to download firmware onto the Waveshare CPU module, instructions for this are on page 112 of the User manual and you’ll need a male USB A to male USB A cable to do this.
